    The Arrival of Spring in Woldgate, East Yorkshire, 16 March, 2011 is an iPad drawing by David Hockney from the Arrival of Spring in Woldgate series. The composition centres on a softly lit, pale pink country lane running through the middle of the scene, with puddles reflecting cooler tones from the sky above. To the left, woodland trees in dark green and turquoise frame the view, while to the right, a bright red architectural wall contrasts with a winding green path.
