Installed on London's, Victoria Embankment, Paul Day's monumental Battle of Britain was designed at an in-person level, to take the viewer through various scenes that defined this difficult moment of British history. The central scene depicts airmen running at full force to their planes in defence of an incoming raid. Since it's installation, Battle of Britain has become one of London's most visited pieces of public sculpute.
