Untitled 577, Two Robes, 2010 is a 25-edition print release created as part of David Hockney's iPad drawings. Staying within the oeuvre of Hockney's domestic scenery, this work presents the entrance to a small bathroom, including a range of colours, patterns and textures. Although the image doesn't include any people, you can see traces of them through the choices of dressing gowns hung on the door or the mix of bottles on the shelves.
  • "You notice more with each succesive year; I'm doing that now"

    - David Hockney

The digital works capture vibrant landscapes, still lifes, and intimate portraits with a modern twist. Hockney's use of digital media highlights his adaptability and willingness to experiment with contemporary tools, blending traditional artistic techniques with cutting-edge technology to produce visually striking and evocative images. These pieces exemplify Hockney’s continued exploration of technology, rendered with a bold palette and confident linework.
