Love is in the Air depicts a masked man, dressed like a protester, captured mid-throw - but instead of a weapon, he’s about to launch a bouquet. A bold orange crosshair floats above him, aimed squarely at the flowers he’s holding, suggesting he’s not the attacker, but the one under threat. The tension between violence and peace is classic Banksy - playful, subversive, and unsettling.

Love is in the Air quickly became one of Banksy’s most iconic motifs. Often referred to as Flower Thrower or LIITA, the piece is a powerful anti-war statement that replaces violence with vulnerability. The bouquet, delicate and harmless, becomes both a protest and a target - reflecting the artist’s critique of authority, conflict, and control in one striking, unforgettable moment.
