Published in 1981 by gallerist Ronal Feldman, the Myths portfolio includes 10 images depicting icons of American TV and popular culture. Warhol had actors and friends dress up to create characters from the works then photographed them with his Polaroid. From these images, the final works were conceived. In recent years, the Myths have become some of Warhol's highest selling screen-prints, with complete sets in mint condition incredibly hard to come by.
